GUMTREE GUTTERS LLC LIMITED WARRANTY

Our limited warranty declares that the gutter systems installed by Gumtree Gutters LLC are guaranteed for a period of one ( 1 ) year from the date of installation against sagging, leaking, or not draining properly due to improper installation. All warranty claims may be submitted by phone, in writing, or via email to Gumtree Gutters LLC. IF A WARRANTY CLAIM IS REQUESTED WITHIN THE ONE-YEAR PERIOD AND WE FIND DURING OUR FOLLOW-UP WARRANTY EVALUATION OF THE GUTTERS THAT MAINTENANCE (I.E. CLEAN, REMOVE CLOGS) IS REQUIRED OR IF WE FIND THAT THE ISSUE IS CAUSED BY CUSTOMER NEGLECT. THE CUSTOMER WILL INCUR A SERVICE CHARGE OF $125.00 PLUS THE COST OF ANY SERVICES COMPLETED TO REMEDIATE THE ISSUES DURING OUR ON-SITE VISIT.

What is NOT Covered in Labor Warranty: This Labor Warranty shall not extend to any defect or product failure resulting from (1) Natural, Act-of-God occurrences such as but not limited to, lightning, hurricanes, hail, earthquakes, flood, tornadoes, and falling objects; (2) damage to the property or structure to which guttering system has been applied caused by settling, cracking, movement, shifting, or splitting including but not limited to structural failure of walls, roofs, foundations, fascia, or rafters; (3) any deliberate act or negligence of the purchaser or any other person when installing or maintaining surfaces of the structure to which materials have been applied; (4) normal wear and tear as per manufacturer specifications or color fading, staining, replacement of any rotten wood, water behind gutters without eave metal, or any erosion; (5) improper maintenance of the gutter system by the customer, including, but not limited to clogging caused by leaves or debris in the gutter.

Gumtree Gutters LLC is not responsible for maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of gutter systems that have been installed unless a maintenance contract has been requested and approved. Interior gutter cleanings are covered by our 90-day leak-free warranty that guarantees the gutters are watertight after the interior gutter cleaning is completed.

Gumtree Gutters LLC is not responsible for another contractor’s work on the gutter system following our installation. This includes but is not limited to changing the pitch of the roof, changing the length of the shingle overhang, or any part of the roof as it related to the gutter system at the time of our installation. Removal, repairs, or re-installation of any gutter component by anyone other than Gumtree Gutters, LLC voids all warranties within this document.

PLEASE READ: Rain gutters are not intended to make a watertight seal against the fascia board. Water flowing between the gutter and fascia board or behind the fascia board is usually initiated by one of the following:

• Short, damaged, or curled roofing causes the water to run back onto the fascia board behind the gutter.

• Gaps in the shingles caused by the fascia board being elevated more than the roof decking, allowing the water to drain down between the shingles and behind the fascia board. This may cause damage to the roof decking, rafter tails, fascia board, or eave.

• Water problems may also be triggered by defective or missing flashing around chimneys, vent stacks, and drip edge.

These issues are not caused by Gumtree Gutters gutter systems and therefore are not covered under our Limited Warranty.

This warranty is not transferable, and this warranty becomes effective once we receive payment in full.
