Proper gutter maintenance is required to keep your gutters functioning at an optimal level. At the top of the maintenance list is gutter cleaning. Gumtree Gutters offers two types of gutter cleaning: Interior Gutter Cleaning & Exterior Gutter Cleaning.
Rain gutters catch more than just rain throughout the year. Typical debris includes leaves, twigs, acorns, toys, shingles, vegetation, and all types of household debris. You would be surprised with what we find in gutters! We routinely remove small tree saplings that sprout in gutters that have been badly clogged for a long period of time. Gutters blocked with debris are ineffective and can cause major issues for your house. Once a gutter is full of debris, the rainwater from your roof has nowhere to go when it drains down into the gutter. The debris blocks the water preventing it from draining from the gutter. If you see water running over the front of your gutter, more than likely your gutters are clogged, and they need to be cleaned. Interior Gutter Cleaning
Our interior gutter cleaning service would not be considered a run of the mill interior gutter cleaning service. When our gutter technicians arrive to complete the interior gutter cleaning, they will begin by removing all leaves, limbs, shingle granules & debris from the interior of the gutters. They will check to make sure the downspouts are not clogged and are operating correctly.
After the debris is removed, our technicians will use water to wash out the interior of the gutters & downspouts. During this process, they will be examining your gutter system looking for unsecured hanger screws, missing sealant & any leaks in the gutter joints.
After cleaning & inspection, the technicians will seal leaking joints and corners with sealant as needed. Our interior gutter cleaning service also includes securing detached downspouts to the house and other small repairs.
Lastly, our team of technicians will inspect all the gutters & downspouts to make sure they are watertight before leaving your property. Gumtree Gutters offers a 90-day leak-free warranty that guarantees the gutters are watertight after the interior gutter cleaning is completed. We recommend that your gutters be cleaned at minimum annually and sometimes bi-annually if you have many trees around your home. Exterior Gutter Cleaning
Increased Curb Appeal? Brighten and beautify existing gutters with our exterior gutter cleaning service. Over time, the exterior surface of your gutters & downspout collect dust, dirt & grime that leaves dark, vertical black stripes called Tiger Stripes. Tiger stripes are the result of electrostatic bonding of dirt, pollen, sap, grime, tar, and environmental pollutants that collects on the tip lip of your gutter and is then distributed down the side of the gutter by rain. Over time, the buildup on the side of the gutters becomes more visible especially on lighter shades of gutters.
Tiger Stripes can be removed by our professional, gutter technicians to help your gutters look new again. We recommend the exterior of your gutters be cleaned once a year.
